Bayt al-Hikmah Holds Certificate Awarding Ceremony in Baran, Rajasthan
27/02/2025, Baran, Rajasthan: Bayt al-Hikmah Deoband recently organized a certificate awarding ceremony in Rajasthan for students who completed their Tajwid studies. About fifty students joined the Tajwid course in Bayt al-Hikmah’s Baran branch in 2024, out of which 37 were awarded certificates of achievement.
The event was graced by the presence of its Director, Mufti Mohammad Anwar Khan Qasmi, who delivered an insightful lecture on the significance of Tajwid in Qur’anic recitation. Addressing the students and attendees, he emphasized that Tajwid is not merely about correct pronunciation but a means to preserve the divine message in its original form. He highlighted how mastering Tajwid enhances one’s connection with the Qur’an and ensures its proper transmission to future generations.
In his concluding remarks, Mufti Anwar Khan encouraged students to remain steadfast in their pursuit of Islamic knowledge. He reminded them that dedication and consistent effort are key to excelling in their studies and serving the community. Stressing the broader importance of Islamic scholarship, he urged them to continue their education with sincerity and diligence. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates with prizes in form of books and pens were given to the bright students, acknowledging the students’ achievements and inspiring them to further their studies with renewed enthusiasm.

During his visit, Mufti Anwar Khan visited the revered mausoleums and tombs of Prophets and saints across Jordan, immersing himself in the spiritual and historical legacy of Jordan. Moreover, in a remarkable gesture of appreciation, Dr. Bashar Awwad Ma‘roof penned an exclusive letter commending Mufti Anwar Khan and Bayt al-Hikmah for their outstanding efforts in promoting Arabic language and Islamic scholarship in India and beyond.
